Summary/Abstract: Religiosity is a kind of lifestyle, which expresses a human’s attitude to God. Both individuals and whole communities desire to know and devote their lives to a supernatural quality not only through their views, but religious activities as well. Although religiosity can’t be reduced to religious practices, faith without rituals is like soul without flesh. A man’s participation hi religious practices is a visible sign of his religiosity. For religious practices are closely connected with a religious lifestyle, they can be used to evaluate and estimate a man’s level of religiosity. This article attempts to present the main idea and basic needs for religious practices (both voluntary and obligatory) in terms of the Catholic Teaching. Religiosity has not only its practice dimension, but spirituality dimension as well. Participating in the liturgical life of the church is as important as the practitioners’ religious engagement and devotion.
