Summary/Abstract: Development of media needs training skills of recipients of media messages. It is a task of schools, but also the state, NGOs and the Church. One of the first social institutions, which understand how important this task was just the Catholic Church. Media education can not be understood only as a technical training, but should be a humanistic education. I presents some methods to the media education initiatives of the Church in media education.
