Summary/Abstract: A human was appointed to love. Realization of this appointment is not easy task. Modern society offers various proposals for its fulfillment. Unfortunately, many of them is actually an obstacle to the realization of love. Among them there can be mentioned cohabiting couples, which are concubinage at the same time. The concepts of ‘cohabitation’ and ‘concubinage’ are often used interchangeably. However cohabitation is a wider notion and not always involves moral evil that is in concubinage. One suspects that some notional manipulation was developed which covers in some measure a negative dimension of this phenomenon. To answer the question of the realization of love by cohabiting couples, there must be first analyzed a profile of love in a personalistic-theological perspective. In the light of this perspective a study of a phenomenon of cohabitation shows that it is realization of inversion of love – that is selfishness and with a notion ‚love’ it is linked only by similar phonetic sound.
