Summary/Abstract: Pastors of the Church in Poland – inspired by the prophetic vision of the Blessed John Paul – made at the beginning of the third millennium, the completion of the task of the Church that was home for their children. This is the keynote of the three-year National Pastoral Programme at the beginning of the second decade of the twenty-first century. In building a community of the Church’s fundamental role of the sacraments. Of all the sacraments of the Church meet the important role of the so-called sacraments of healing, which is the sacrament of penance and reconciliation and the sacrament of anointing of the sick. They constitute an essential component of ecclesial identity. These are the sacraments in a special way responsible for designing and building the community of the Church. The publication shows that the penance and the anointing are clearly the ecclesial character. Therefore, the Christian faithful fulfillment of all obligations arising from the sacrament of penance and anointing of the leaven of the Gospel is, that makes the Church made present in a community of unity, love and peace. Through fidelity to his vocation and witness of life man reconciled to God in the Sacrament of Penance and the Sacrament of the Anointing of the adoption of strengthened contributes to the growth of the whole Church and to His holiness. Everything, therefore, what is important in the life of the Church and what gives it the true dimension and meaning, you can find in the sacrament of penance and anointing.
