Summary/Abstract: Artisan activities in Slovak conditions are associated with entrepreneurship and the development of crafts, the operation of which is conditioned by the professional competence acquired via apprenticeship, or is associated with copyright law, where the production is related to mental activity. Our aim is to highlight the work of selected individuals who respect one of the forms and the activity is carried out as a specific artisan activity representing the culture and values of Eastern Slovakia.
