Summary/Abstract: Nowadays in light of various threats, family evangelization becomes a pastoral priority. The Church concern for a family is expressed through pre-evangelization, evangelization and catechetic teaching. Family ministry is a tool to carry out this task. However, a family is also a subject of evangelization through performing prophetic, priestly and kingly functions. A family as a home church is the community where one learns how to live in diversity, to belong to others, where parents convey their faith (see EG 66). It is the source of various vocations.
