Summary/Abstract: The following paper is devoted to the use of Polish poems during Polish language classes for foreigners. The texts that are discussed enable the teacher to convey both cultural and linguistic knowledge. Grammar-related issues present in the selected poems serve as a pretext to create various exercises and language games.
