Summary/Abstract: In “Glos Ludu”, we can observe interferences from the Czech language, e.g. Kilkaset widzów przyszło dziś po południu obejrzeć [...] program (22.04.2012). More frequently, though, phrases of the same type conform to the rules of standard Polish, e.g. W tym momencie znajdowało się na nim [na dachu] kilkunastu strażaków. (19.07.2010). This proves that syntax bohemisms are not established in the Polish language used by the authors of the published texts. Instead, the mistakes result from negative transfer and are most probably made through haste and careless proofreading.
