Summary/Abstract: The article presents the foundations of the task method, its place in the media didactics, and the use of this method in the process of foreign language and culture teaching through Internet texts, tests and educational programs. The article also discusses a project of online lessons available on the websites of School of Polish Language and Culture at University of Silesia, Center of the Polish Language and Culture in the World at the Jagiellonian University and some other websites presenting Polish culture.
