Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the textological and linguistical analysis of the narrative Cyril Turovsky compositions from the Joseph-Volokolamsky Monastery. As the study revealed in this Monastery not only the ones particular redactions are arisen, but also the first attempt both to unite into collected volume all the three allegorical Cyril Turovsky works – Parable (Pritcha), Story (Povest'), Legend (Skazaniye) - and to compose the selection of the narrative and rhetorical him works. Not only text of works but also their language was edited. In the manuscripts from the Joseph-Volokolamsky Monastery there is replacement of archaic vocabulary, simplification of syntactical constructions Research led to the conclusion that the scribes of monastery had shown particular interest to works of Cyril Turovsky. So, the monk Photius used in his works the manuscripts of the works of Cyril of Turov, which existed in the monastery, inserting fragments from them in their articles.
