Summary/Abstract: Charles Grzesik used the two pseudonyms: Hauke and Lerch. He was born on 30 May 1890. Siedliska Racibórz County. He participated in the Silesian Uprisings and share plebiscite in Upper Silesia. With the support of followers of Pilsudski, proclaimed himself supreme commander of the third Silesian Uprising in 1921. For which he was arrested and brought before a court-martial. He stood for a certain period at the head of the Association of Silesian Insurgents. In the years 1926-1934 he was head of the municipality in September Big Hajduki, and then the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939. president of the city of Chorzów. After the May coup involved with the Silesian sanitation. K. Grzesik was a leading activist in Silesia and a UN NChZP. He held the dignity of Members of the Parliament of the national second and third term in the years 1928-1935. Also please him the dignity of Marshal of the fourth Silesian Parliament in the years 1935 to 1939. Also was part of the supervisory boards of large companies in the voivodship. After the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939. moved into the region of Lviv, where he died in mysterious circumstances.
