The Phenomena of the New Age as a modern Tower of Babel. An attempt to create a definition and process of Formation

Summary/Abstract: The present article is dedicated to the phenomena of the ‘New Age’. The theme itself is very controversial and people may be very skeptical. The goal of this article is to provide a test which can define the New-Age movement through a rich terminology which exists now and then by showing the most important people, places and events which created the present image of the movement. The first part of the article attempts to create a definition of this phenomena and indicates some reasons for its birth and its goals. The second part, is a attempt to produce a history of how the movement came to be, the main principles of the ‘New Age’ and its most important ideas, its ways of acting and its present status. It is a very difficult and large theme that requires which needs a key to help us to produce an honest evaluation of the movement and its main elements.
