Summary/Abstract: The article considers M. Haretski’s mythological model, which was built stepwise, from cosmogony and etymology to anthropology, and later – to eschatology. The cosmological disclosure of the world in the writer’s mythology occurs in the distinctive spatial-temporal coordinates, the initial constituents of which are represented by the images of Chaos. Primarily, M.Haretski’s characters aspire to appear in initial Chaos, to gain strength in the so-called parental bosom, which is metaphorically represented in the images of bog, parental home, world tree. The mythical-poetic concept of the world tree in the author’s mythologization reflects the most universal situation – the choice between life and death, which, in some cases, guarantees spirituality and stability.
