Tadeusz Kotarbiński’s praxeology: Does it matter for modern business?

Summary/Abstract: An attempt to answer the question whether Tadeusz Kotarbiński’s praxeology has any value for modern business is made. The notion of globalization and its relation to business, the notion of praxeology according to Tadeusz Kotarbiński and his independent ethic are considered and an attempt is made to show the relation between praxeology and independent ethic. In the view of the author, modern business should apply certain elements derived from praxeology as well as independent ethic. Practical application of praxeology without the prescriptions derived from independent ethic will not result in a limitation of human suffering but will only contribute to the realization of business goals.
