Measure 8.1 of the Operational Program Innovative Economy as Part of the Support System for Micro-enterprises of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: Purpose – demonstration of reasonability of grant programs to support innovation in micro, small and medium enterprises on the example of Measure 8.1 of the Operational Program Innovative Economy. Methodology – critical analysis of literature, case analysis and preliminary indicator analysis. Findings – most of the projects are inactive four years after the end of the financing period. Most of the active projects received too much subsidy in relation to the results obtained. Originality – one of the few analyzes of the effectiveness of the use of grants that goes beyond the use of funds.
