Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the main values reflected in the Kazakh literature of different periods. The results of this article confirm that the Kazakh prose has close connection with world literature as one of their destinations. The review analysis covers a period of time, beginning with the ancient sources of Kazakh oral culture till the collapse of the Soviet system and the proclamation of independence.
