Summary/Abstract: During the Second World War a large number of Polish priests, religious and lay people were displaced to the Soviet Union, mostly because of deportation decided by Soviet officials. Their faith, directly determining also the way of their lives as displaced people, became a specific phenomenon in the whole history of Catholic Church.
