Summary/Abstract: The Associaton of Hungarian Educators in America (AHEA) held its 37th International Conference in New York (Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus) on 26–29 April 2012. Its interdisciplinary subject, Hungarian borders, [e]migrations, diasporas, comprised the fields of Hungarian culture,history, ethnography, literature, linguistics, fi ne arts and music. As revealed by the presentation of Dr. Éva Nagy, State Secretary Office Manager, Hungarians living in America focused on issues such as emigration, Hungarian educational programmes in American universities, Hungarian artists in America, Hungarian culture and diplomacy in America, etc. Participants from Hungary also took place in this distinguished event.
