Zadara’s principles

Summary/Abstract: The text describes six main principles of Michał Zadara’s work as a director. Not only does it present fundamental values of director’s methods but also takes a critical look at them and assesses their rightness and performative efficacy. The paper is based on a master thesis which can be considered as a dialogue between a master and a student, between a director and an assistant, between Zadara and Streker. The author analyses this issue taking into consideration her individual experience gained during work on several theatrical productions in collaboration with Michał Zadara.
