Resource management expenditure accounts

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents several of resource management initiatives that have been undertaken in Europe in the last decade. Difficulties were noted in monitoring the existing state and the changes in the management of natural resources. The solution to this problem could be the compilation of European resource management expenditure accounts (ReMEA), proposed for implementation in the European Union countries after 2020. The purpose of this paper is to present resource management expenditure accounts as the only ones of the natural resources accounts held in monetary units. This article reviews legislative acts, concepts and plans in the field of resource management and presents ReMEA accounts.
