Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present a cost-effectiveness analysis of the environmental policy in Poland in the period 2002–2012. The cost-effectiveness index presented in three main areas of environmental protection: protection of climate and ambient air, wastewater and waste management. Also made comparisons to the cost-effectiveness index in the international comparison.
