Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the essence of rendering cultural services on the example of survey research conducted in theatres of Szczecin. It should be noticed that the awareness of the need for using cultural services is positively correlated with education, social status and household income. Each man possesses a certain pattern of thinking, feeling and behaving that have been learned in the life time. The important role in this pattern plays using cultural services offer.
