Summary/Abstract: Dr. Géza Balázs, university teacher and linguist, in his discourse focuses primarily on media-addiction and symptoms of different media impacts. We absorb our information mainly through the media, that’s why our image of the world is shaped by media, and not our own experiences. But the world is misshaped through media. As an effect, bolted and polite language is crowded out by homogenous, signal-like communcation. The author emphasizes the significance of media pedagogy, the inlay of media in education.
