Interactions Between Logistical Potential and Financial Potential in Crisis Situations - Theoretical and Methodological Approach

Summary/Abstract: Purpose – undertaking discussions aimed at defining the concept of financial potential in the logistical support of the operations in crisis situations and to determine the mutual dependencies between the financial and logistical potential in case of supporting the government’s actions by local government units in crisis situations. Design/methodology/approach – Methodology of the study - was used a group of methods typical for social sciences, which are the methods of empirical cognition, and in particular the method of induction, deduction and comparisons. Findings – a discussion on the concept of financial potential in the logistical support of the operations in crisis situations and to determine the relationship between the financial and logistical potential in the implementation of tasks by local government units. Originality/value – the development of the concept of theoretical financial potential in logistical support of the operations in crisis situations and presenting its mathematical notation.
