An Analysis On Culture and Cultural Protection in Five-Year Development Plans

Summary/Abstract: Ten "Five-Year Development Plans" have been prepared in Turkey since 1963. Today, the "Tenth Five-Year Development Plan" covers the years 2014-2018. Fiveyear development plans that set the growth targets that Turkey plans to implement in the long term, including economic and social and cultural areas, is the policy document prepared by the current Ministry of Development, formerly the State Planning Organization. This article will be evaluated on the topic of "cultural development" in the five-year development plans. This study will focus on the identification and analysis of how to develop an approach to cultural and cultural conservation on Five-Year Development Plan. Thus, the state's short-term development plans and developments in the protection of culture passed on to future generations, given how much space will be determined in the growth and development goals.
