Summary/Abstract: The article presents the latest rescue archaeological excavations performed in the perimeter ofthe fortification system of Sibiu of the late Middle Ages. Through these researches we were able to identify theexact location of the Tower Gate and Gate’s Bastion, components of the last two fortification belts of the city.
