Summary/Abstract: Theories of the regional development show that the intellectual capital is an important factor of the regions competitiveness. The main aim of the article is an evaluation of variation of factors determining the intellectual capital level of Polish regions. The paper has been shown that there is a statistically significant relation between the level of economic development of Polish regions and factors determining the value of intellectual capital.
