Economics as social science – a critical review

Summary/Abstract: Article raises questions about the nature of social economics. Review of methodological, sociological and rhetorical obstacles in moving economics closer to social practice has been made. The doubtful views of several prominent economists on the implementation of the social character of economics has been made.
