Summary/Abstract: E-government is a tool of filling the spatial-temporal gap dividing the information society from government. Implementing the concept of e-government is certainly a necessity, if not the present day, then the near future. The process of implementation can be divided into four phases, starting of the infrastructure construction through the launch and automate operations, until a new integrated management system. Logistics is one of the tools needed to build such a system, but also is one of its major beneficiaries. Reorganization of business processes for e-government will increase their cost-, time- and quality-effectiveness.
