Summary/Abstract: The Romanian version of the work The Teachings of Neagoe Basarab to His Son Theodosie illustrates the features of the literary language from the mid-seventeenth century. Specilaists have had strong doubts in identifying a translator. For this, it is necessary to analyze the text, correlated with the translations of the respective period which had well-known translators. This can lead, with a high degree of certainty, to the identification of the linguistic features with individual circumscription.
