Summary/Abstract: The major constituents of social work as a multidimensional profession are knowledge, values and skills. Apart from specific social work knowledge, this profession applies knowledge from other branches of social sciences. This makes social work multifaceted and complex. The duty of social workers is to continuously broaden their knowledge, develop new skills and on the grounds of social work values involve themselves in the lifelong learning process. One of the possibilities for social work lifelong learning is to attend four module qualification upgrading courses organised by Social Care Study Centre at SWI, VMU. The article analysis the experience gained in organising such courses.
