Summary/Abstract: The enactment of the military penal code is an attempt to stabilize and establish order in the armed forces. The second chapter of this code deals with the commission of crimes against internal and external security by the armed forces, which, despite improvements over the Islamic Penal Code and the former codes, is associated with some weaknesses. in addition, some crimes against security are criminalized in the Islamic Penal Code as well. In the present article, attempts are made to study the articles laid down in Chapter II of military Penal Code and other relevant articles in the Islamic penal code (the fifth edition), in order to make amendments to this code and achieve a higher level of national security in the armed forces.
