The origins of postmodernism

Summary/Abstract: Postmodernism is the popular trend which is the key to success in philosophy, art and ethics nowadays. In order to present a philosophical legitimacy, postmodernist thinkers claim that they identify the philosophical origins of postmodernism in the thinking of Friedrich Nietzsche and of Martin Heidegger. This study aims at proving that this claim is unsubstantiated and that postmodernism is actually an imposture. Therefore, we call it the philosophy of making fun and making fun of philosophy.
