The Dignity of the Elderly in the New Social Reality

Summary/Abstract: In times of dynamic socio-cultural and moral problem of human dignity becomes the subject of interest ethicists and educators. Conflicts, misunderstandings and increase social pathology leads to dilemmas axiological and undermining moral standards. In the case of the disappearance of authority and the depreciation of merit, there is a need to make the public aware that human dignity is the foundation of social and moral human functioning. Especially the elderly, the disabled, experiencing negative situations affecting their self-esteem and social belonging.
