Summary/Abstract: The article presents different approaches to the study of tolerance and types of tolerance. A special attention is paid to researching the notion “pedagogical tolerance”. For a definition of pedagogical tolerance different definitions of the phenomenon in research on pedagogy has been considered. On the basis of the analysis the authors’interpretation of the phenomenon "pedagogical tolerance" is made in the given article.
