Internal problematic culture of Orthodox monasticism as a subject of scientific analysis

Summary/Abstract: Much of the work on the study of monastic culture is considered (often – implicitly) the problem of the relation on her "social and activity", "social and prayer," "Prince and the monastery," etc. directions. However, this issue has not been deeply understood and was not as a subject of special scientific consideration. To separate the cultural connotations of observed two types of monasticism, it is proposed to introduce the concept to refer to them, "the monastic culture" and "the monastery culture".
