Summary/Abstract: Two accounts of Polish eyewitnesses (Adam Ulrich and Stanisław Żemiński) regarding the fate of Jews and the course of their extermination in two cities of the Lublin district, Zakrzówek and Łuków. The authors sympathize with the victims and, simultaneously with horror, observe the complicity of Polish neighbors in liquidation actions and property looting belonging to the Jews. Both accounts contain many important facts and observations, they are among the most important Polish testimonies of the Holocaust.
