On the relation between the lexico-semantic category of the limit and the verb form

Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses the question what influence the category of limitativity has on the category of verbal aspect. From this point of view, the author focuses on the semantic types of aspectual pairs, and verbs of delimitative manner of action are analyzed in this respect as well. In conclusion, the author also touches upon the aspectual model of clusters which has received special emphasis in L. Janda’s research.
