Summary/Abstract: The aim of my work is to determine the relationship between pathological and dysfunctionalfamily environment and behavior of 2nd class gymnasium school students. Concepts such aspathological and dysfunctional family, and its negative consequences for adolescent child are discussed.In the study the following research tools are used: a parental attitudes questionnaire byM. Ziemska, „My father”, „My mother”, student behavior questionnaire by B. Markowska and ITUIinventory user. The analysis of the questionnaire by B. Markowska concludes that 12 students areraised by alcoholic fathers and 4 students are brought up by single mothers. The research questionnaireby M. Ziemska shows that 90% of fathers manifest rejecting attitude their own children. TheITUI questionnaire showed a high degree of dependence on the Internet at the young people. Studentsshow average and low motivation to learn, a high degree deceleration, a low degree of socializationand anti-social behavior. The results indicate that there is a high degree of dependence betweenpathological and dysfunctional family and the behavior of students.
