Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on Marin Sorescu’s narrative poems from the volumes La Lilieci and the linguistic features of orality, noticeable in these verses. The popular language, which is a special characteristic of the rural society, the regional and folk vocabulary are revealed in these lyrics, thus representing the poet's ability to transform common communication code in an act of creation, to restore the close link between literary language and the living language.
