Summary/Abstract: This paper is meant as a contribution to the discussion on the concept and research of the phenomenon of pedagogization. The reflections refer mainly to the analyses of pedagogization of social life conducted within the (post)Foucauldian approach. The author highlights the significance of the thematic issue of “Societas/Communitas” journal for introducing this research perspective into the field of Polish social studies. The final section offers a definition of pedagogization of social life which would take into account a more extensive application of the related concepts of pedagogism and pedagogy.
