Faith in spiritual life of consecrated person

Summary/Abstract: In 2012 with his apostolic letter Porta Fidei, Pope Benedict XVI has set aside Year of Faith for the Catholic Church. His successor, Pope Francis who was continuing this initiative solemnly concluded this Year in 2013 on the Solemnity of Christ the King. This event provokes also consecrated persons to reflection on the issue of faith in spiritual life. Faith, which is at the same time a gift and a light offered to human being by God in the Holy Spirit in order to reach the supernatural perfection is based above all on God’s revelation. Strengthened by discursive cognition and by Christian ascetic way of life it forms the spiritual aspect of human person. Deepened in the religious consecration it make a person to resemble Jesus Christ.
