Summary/Abstract: The authors are creating an incursion in the century-old history of Mediaş, animportant locality of Transylvania, by selecting information, more or less extensive, presented in diachrony, pointing out some moments from the rich local history. Theauthors present economical and political information, urban-architecturalassessments, demographic data, iconography and cartography. Corroborating thisinformation with others of the same nature bring more light to a more complexunderstanding of the history of this locality, proving their usefulness in this sense.
