A Report from 1934 on the Issue of Celebrating 150 years of Horea’s Uprising of (1784)

Summary/Abstract: On occasion of the 150 years celebration, in 1934, of Horea’s Uprisal (1784), an account was drawn out by the Transylvanian Western Carpathians Commissioner’s Office (Comisariatul Munţilor Apuseni). Several measures were proposed in order to confer to this anniversary national dimensions, as well as to ameliorate the extremely needy situation of the Motz (moţi), the Romanians living in the respective area.
