Summary/Abstract: This study deals with the way in which the people living in the Principality of Transylvania cohabitated in the 16th century, when, after the victory of the Protestant Reformation, the old bipolar confessional configuration (with a majority of Orthodox Romanians and some privileged Catholic groups) drastically changed through the rapid transformation of the Catholics into Lutherans (Saxons),Calvinists (Hungarians) and Unitarians/Antitrinitarians (Hungarian and Szekler strata).
