Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present the method of determination of ecological effect for the planned investment on the water wind-driven pulverizing aerator, consistent with the concept of Podaidłowski, on Rudnickie Wielkie lake in Grudziądz. Ecological effect is expressed in the cost of electicity (zł∙kWh-1) from the conventional source and environmental benefits using Savonius wind turbine with a vertical axis of rotation intend conventional energy sources. The calculations were performed using the energy daily date of water wind-driven pulverizing aerator obtained by Konieczny [2016b] and indexes emissions sized mass of chemical pollution from power plants in the process of burning coal, lignite, fuel oil and natural gas having different calorific values and sulfur contents [Barczyński 2001]. The article shows the weighted average of the ecological effect of the water wind-driven pulverizing aerator in each month in terms of carbon dioxide emissions for Rudniceki Wielkie lake is 0.6-5.9 zł∙kWh-1.
