The level of development pattern versus the results of the linear ordering based on data concernig unemployment in the poviats of Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is the analysis of the way in which the level of development pattern influences the final result of ordering and clustering of objects. The four variants of development pattern were applied. The ordering was conducted using Hellwig synthetic measure and the clustering – using the three means method. Then the comparison of the results of ordering and clustering with different levels of development pattern was possible. The discriminant powers of synthetic measures were also examined and the differences between these measures were calculated. The reasons od differences were indicated. The data used in the study concerned the unemployment of people in the specific situation on the labour market in poviats of Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship in 2015.
