Summary/Abstract: Contemporary security environment must have the right conditions to accomplish its tasks in its various forms and sections. In particular, it is necessary to stabilize these conditions which will lead to the improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of all entities operating in the security system, and above all the efficiency of their management in the public sphere. This problem is of particular importance in the age of modern socio-economic realities subordinated to globalization processes, service economy, metropolization, etc. Therefore, security becomes not only one of the important factors stabilizing the processes of growth and development, but it is also an element of these processes. It can be said that it acquires new value not only in the legal or sociological dimension, but above all economic and social, with particular regard to its spatial distribution. Searching the link between new economy and internal security in a regional and local dimension seems important not only from the perspective of its provision, but above all because of the need to constantly identify new threats.
