Summary/Abstract: The article presents chosen aspects of changes in public finance sector after the entry into force a new statue of public finances. The topic is presented from a local viewpoint. On one hand, the changes can be considered as an innovative approach to relationship between financial resources and local government rule. On the other, there are some concerns about the structure of public financing and its effectiveness.
