CONTEMPORARY RUSSIAN PROSE STAGED IN POLAND AFTER 1989

Summary/Abstract: After the year 1989, Russian prose has been staged in Poland more than ten times. Most of these productions were successful among viewers and positively reviewed by theatrical critics. Unfortunately, their subjects were reduced to historical or social issues, ignoring reading preferences. What is worth pointing out, their adaptations were made by excellent directors and which resulted in numerous outstanding actors’ creations.
